The Bronx Defenders Condemns Trump’s Cruel and Shameful Decision to End DACA

New York – In response to the Trump Administration’s decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, The Bronx Defenders issued the following statement:

“The Bronx Defenders stands in solidarity with our immigrant clients, their families, and communities and condemns in the strongest terms the Trump administration’s decision to end DACA. This is a cruel, shameful, and reckless decision, which puts at risk the lives and livelihoods of thousands of young people who came to the United States as children and are an integral part of our communities. It is our moral imperative to resist this affront to immigrant rights and basic human dignity. It is our duty as New Yorkers to come together and protect our Dreamers. The Bronx Defenders will continue to do so with everything we’ve got.”
