Ryan Brewer


Ryan graduated cum laude from Cardozo School of Law where he was a Public Service Scholar, A David Berg Public Interest Fellow, and the recipient of the 2014 Student Inspire! Award and the Jacob Burns Medal. During law school, Ryan worked in two year-long clinics – the Immigration Justice Clinic and the Criminal Defense Clinic. Additionally, Ryan was a Public Service Fellow and co-founded Cardozo For Immigrants’ Rights and Equality. Ryan spent his law school summers at Kurzban Kurzban Weinger Tetzeli & Pratt, a boutique immigration law firm, and The Bronx Defenders. Before attending law
school, Ryan directed the immigration assistance program for Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada, working with undocumented students, migrant farm workers, and others. Ryan received his B.A. from the University of Nevada and speaks Spanish.
