Orayne Williams


Orayne ( he, him, his) earned his MSW from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service. In his first year, Orayne interned in ADP at the Bronx Defender where developed his passion for forensic social work. Both the internship at The Bronx Defenders and being a homeless youth advocate, charge Orayne’s interest in working with individuals affected by both the criminal justice and unfair policies. While working towards his degree, Orayne worked at the Center for Human Development and Family Services. There, he provided therapeutic services and crisis intervention to children with special needs in the foster care system. Orayne earned his B.A. in English at John Jay College for Criminal Justice. During his undergraduate career, Orayne founded Progressive People Movement Inc, a non-profit that provides advocacy, scholarship and life skills training to youths living in New York City homeless shelters.
