Maya Paris-Saper

Maya Paris-Saper (she/her/hers) graduated from Sarah Lawrence College where her academic studies focused on History, Sociology, Urban Studies and Global Health. Maya has many years of experience in non-profit and justice work, from leading programming on race and class and facilitating educational interventions for youth to working in finance and operations for 501c3 organizations. Prior to joining The Bronx Defenders, she served as one of the directors of a youth-run social justice non-profit based in Brooklyn where she worked to ensure the financial and operational health of the organization. She is passionate about working towards justice in New York City and creating a society built on compassion and radical empathy.
