Leslie Eileen Polseno


Leslie (she/her/hers) earned her Master’s in Social Work with a concentration in clinical work and a specialization in working with children and families from Fordham University. Upon graduation, she worked in a Medicaid waiver program providing community support to children with trauma histories before becoming a social worker and supervisor in Treatment Family Foster Care. During this time, Leslie earned her clinical licensure and transitioned to supervising at an Article 31 outpatient clinic in Brooklyn. Following this, she became a family therapist in a Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) program which focuses on providing services and resources to help young children and families recover and heal after stressful and traumatic events. In addition to CPP, Leslie is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) and is also SIFI (Student Intern Field Instructor) certified.
