Kyla Kuvach


Kyla Kuvach (she/her/hers) received her J.D. from the City University of New York School of Law. While in law school, Kyla worked with the Criminal Defense Clinic and the Parole Preparation Project to represent individuals charged with misdemeanors in Queens Criminal Court and individuals applying for parole and clemency in New York State prisons. Kyla spent her 1L summer and 2L academic year interning at The Legal Aid Society’s Criminal Defense Practice in Queens. She also spent six months interning with The Bronx Defenders Family Defense Practice. Prior to law school, Kyla received her B.A. in Critical Race Theory from Hampshire College and worked as a Writing Fellow there before moving back to New York.
