John Adelman

John graduated cum laude from New York University School of Law, where he was the recipient of a Dean’s Award Scholarship. During law school, he participated in the Federal Defender Clinic representing indigent clients charged with misdemeanors in the Eastern District of New York.  He was also a member of the OUTLaw LGBT student organization and Law Students for Human Rights. John spent his law school summers interning in the Immigration and Criminal Defense Practices at Brooklyn Defender Services and The Bronx Defenders. Prior to law school, John spent two years in Central America working as a tour leader for an adventure travel company. He is fluent in Spanish.
