Jessica Swensen

Jessica is Immigration Practice Legal Counsel, where she represents immigration clients in a variety of federal litigation. Prior to this role, Jessica was the Director for The Bronx Defenders’ Center for Holistic Defense and a Supervising Attorney in the Immigration Practice of the New York Immigrant Family Unity Project. She started at The Bronx Defenders in 2013 as an immigration attorney in the Civil Action Practice, where she represented noncitizen clients with contacts with the criminal legal system. Jessica received her J.D. from Boston College Law School where she was a Public Service Scholar. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from Boston College and speaks Spanish.
