Jenny Barajas


Jenny E. Barajas (she/her/hers) received her J.D. from The Cardozo School of Law  where she was a David Berg Public Interest Fellow and the recipient of the Jonathan A. Weiss Award for her commitment to Public Interest Law. During law school, she worked in two year-long clinics – The Innocence Project, and the Criminal Defense Clinic, where she represented clients with misdemeanor cases and worked on a client’s parole application and hearing. She also served as a staff editor for the Cardozo Moot Court Honor Society and as Vice President of Cardozo’s Latin American Law Students Association, and spent her 2L summer interning at The Bronx Defenders. Jenny holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics with a minor in Latin American studies from New York University. She is fluent in Spanish.
