Gregg Butler


Gregg Butler (he/him/his) received his J.D. from the City University of New York School of Law where he was a Graduate Fellow. While in law school, Gregg represented individuals applying for parole through the Criminal Defense Clinic and advocated for individuals targeted by aggressive government counterterrorism practices through the CLEAR Project. Gregg interned at the Bronx Defenders, Brooklyn Defender Services and the Legal Action Center. Prior to law school, Gregg worked in food service and interned at the Anti-Violence Project. He holds a B.A. from Middlebury College, where he studied Gender Studies and Arabic.
