Falon Rainer


Falon Rainer (she/her/hers) received her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she was awarded the Vanderbilt Medal for her outstanding contributions to the law school community. While at NYU, Falon participated in the Juvenile Defender Clinic and the Criminal Defense and Reentry Clinic. She also served on the Black Allied Law Students Association, the Fair Defense Project, and the Suspension Representation Project where she advocated for public school students in superintendent suspension hearings. Falon spent her law school summers interning with the Legal Aid Society’s Juvenile Rights Division and The Bronx Defenders’ Criminal Defense Practice. Prior to law school, she taught kindergarten in Brooklyn, NY. Falon graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Political Science and African-American and African Studies and has a M.A. in Teaching from the Relay Graduate School of Education.
