Edward Soto


Edward Soto (he/him/his), born and raised in the Bronx, received his J.D. cum laude from Brooklyn Law School. There, he was an Edward V. Sparer Public Interest Law Fellow and selected as a member of the inaugural class of Brooklyn Law School’s Criminal Defense & Advocacy Clinic, where he worked on a federal clemency petition, representing clients charged with misdemeanors in Human Trafficking Intervention Courts, and assisted clients with post-conviction matters. During his law school summers, Edward interned with The Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem’s Criminal Division and The Bronx Defender’s Criminal Defense Practice. His last year of law school, he participated in the New York Pro Bono Scholars Program where he worked as a full-time extern with The Bronx Defenders and successfully passed the New York Bar Examination before graduation. He holds a B.A. magna cum laude in Law and Society from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
