Edie Joseph


Edie Joseph (she/her/hers) graduated cum laude from New York University School of Law, where she was awarded the Dean John Sexton Prize for outstanding service to the law school and was an Arthur Garfield Hays Civil Liberties Fellow. While at NYU, Edie represented clients in the Juvenile Defender Clinic and the Family Defense Clinic, and also represented students in the Suspension Representation Project. Edie spent her summers at The Bronx Defenders and Still She Rises, Tulsa. She also spent semesters interning at The Legal Aid Society’s Special Litigation Unit, Immigrant Defense Project, and Sylvia Rivera Law Project. Prior to law school, Edie worked on state juvenile justice and child welfare policy in Connecticut. She graduated magna cum laude from Yale University.
