Daniella Brito


Daniella Brito (she/her/hers) recently earned her MSW from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. During her first year, she interned at a residential facility that supported adults with addictions and other mental health needs. She provided individual and group sessions for her clients and implemented treatment plans. In her last year at Silberman, Daniella interned at the Federal Defenders of New York, where she provided clients with pre-conviction supportive services and post-conviction reentry support. Prior to this work, she spent each of her summers from 2014 to 2017 interning at the Fresh Air Fund, where she guided both English- and Spanish-speaking families through the application process to help place children with summer host families. Daniella earned her B.A. in Psychology from Penn State in 2016.
