Daniel Zeidman


Dan Curbelo Zeidman is a supervising attorney in the Criminal Defense Practice.  Before becoming a supervisor, Dan was a staff attorney in the Criminal Defense Practice.  He also participated in a rotation in the Bronx Defenders’ New York Immigrant Family Unity Project (NYIFUP), where he represented people facing deportation and removal in New York City.  Dan received his J.D. from Fordham Law School.  While in law school, Dan was a Stein Scholar for Public Interest, a member of the Criminal Defense Clinic, and was on the Moot Court Executive Board.  Dan was also a Thomas J. Concannon Memorial Fellow with the Federal Defenders for the Eastern District of New York.  Before law school, he worked as a lobbyist assistant with the ACLU Washington Legislative Office.  He also worked as a legislative assistant with the House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.  Dan graduated from Williams College with a B.A. in Political Science. He is originally from Brooklyn and is fluent in Spanish.
