Ashley Gonzalez


Ashley Gonzalez (she/her/hers) received her J.D. from The City University of New York School of Law where she was a Sorensen Fellow and a Pro Bono Scholar. While in law school, she participated in the Human Rights and Gender Justice Clinic and interned with The New York Civil Liberties Union where she challenged city agencies to update their gender markers to include non-binary New Yorkers. Ashley also interned at the ACLU Women’s Rights Project, LatinoJustice PRLDEF, the Sylvia Rivera Law Project and New York City Anti-Violence Project where she represented transgender individuals in visa and asylum cases. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology from The City University of New York John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
