Anthony George

Anthony George (he/him/his) was born and raised in the Bronx. Prior to joining The Bronx Defenders, he worked as a Direct Care Counselor at F.R.E.E INC at Old Bethpage where he advocated for the essential needs of clients and assisted new residents in adapting to a group home environment. He then returned to the Bronx and worked as a Resident Advisor at ACMH INC, a supporting housing agency, where he engaged program tenants in taking a proactive role in managing their mental health. In addition to working with the Bronx Defenders, Anthony volunteers with Assemblywomen Latoya Joyner at the District of the New York State Assembly.
