Alyssa Work


Alyssa Work received her J.D. from Yale Law School. Prior to joining The Bronx Defenders, Alyssa was the director of the Bronx Freedom Fund as a Liman Fellow and clerked for the Honorable Victor Marrero of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. In law school she was a law student intern in the Criminal Justice Clinic, member of the Capital Punishment Clinic and co-student director of the Liman Public Interest Seminar. During her summers she worked at the New York Civil Liberties Union and the Federal Defenders of New York. She received her bachelors degree from Swarthmore College.
