Allison Goodman


Allison Goodman (she/her/hers) received her J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law, where she spent her second year at The East Bay Community Law Center’s Housing Clinic defending tenants against eviction actions. While in law school, Allie led and participated in the Community Restorative Justice Project, Law Students for Justice in Palestine and The National Lawyers Guild, and was a founding member of Queers United in Revolutionary Subversion (QUIRS).  Allie spent her summers interning with Legal Services for Prisoners with Children and The Bronx Defenders’ Family Defense Practice. Prior to law school, she worked as an advocate and community organizer at The Urban Justice Center’s Domestic Violence Project, where she specialized in housing and financial empowerment. She received her B.A. in American Studies from Hamilton College.
