Allaina Sines


Allaina received her J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law, where she was a Child and Family Advocacy Fellow, a recipient of the Excellence in Youth Advocacy Clinical Programs award, and a recipient of the Gold Level Public Service Certificate, awarded in recognition of her completion of over 2,200 hours of pro bono service while in law school. Prior to joining The Bronx Defenders, she participated in the New York Pro Bono Scholars program, where she completed the bar exam before graduating law school and worked full-time at the Center for Family Representation defending parents in child abuse and neglect cases in Queens County Family Court. She has interned at the Hofstra Law Youth Advocacy Clinic, the Legal Aid Society Juvenile Rights Division, and the New York Legal Assistance Group Matrimonial and Family Law Unit, and was a fellow at the Yale Law School Advocacy for Children and Youth Clinic. Allaina received her B.S. in Political Science from Kansas State University.
